Tomorrow I am off to Rome to a meeting of the ATHENA project. So what happens at one of these?

Today sees the official start of the European Commission (EC) funded project ATHENA - Access to cultural heritage networks across Europe.
The EuropeanaLocal project began in June. This month sees the start of an important aspect of its work - a survey of metadata and terminology used by cultural organisation in Europe.
